The Tuck Room

Welcome to The Tuck Room, a hidden gem nestled within the vibrant heart of New York City, specifically at 11 Fulton St. This stunning New American restaurant not only offers a culinary journey but also blends the warmth of a cozy atmosphere with the sophistication of a modern dining space. Boasting a chic decor reminiscent of a speakeasy, it's the perfect backdrop for a delightful meal or a night out with friends.

As I stepped into The Tuck Room, I was immediately taken by the inviting ambiance. From elegant chandeliers to a piano that sets the vibe, every detail contributes to an atmosphere that feels both exclusive and welcoming. With its spacious layout and a cozy bar, the restaurant makes for an excellent choice whether you're catching a meal before a show at the nearby iPic Theatre or enjoying a leisurely evening over drinks.

Menu Highlights:

  • Starters: The menu offers a variety of enticing starters including Short Rib Bao Bun Sliders - braised short rib with gochujang slaw, and Crispy Shrimp Spring “Roll” - a must-try for seafood lovers, combining flavors of crispy shrimp and pomegranate.
  • Handhelds: The standout for me was the Tuck Burger, featuring a half-pound patty topped with guacamole and crispy onion strings. Pair this with their signature fries, and you have a filling, flavorful experience that leaves you wanting more.
  • Desserts: Don’t miss out on their Mini Ice Cream Sandwiches, a perfect sweet note to end your meal. The combination of toffee chocolate chip cookies and vanilla ice cream is nothing short of delightful.

One of the most remarkable aspects of my visit was the service. I encountered a manager who was committed to ensuring my experience was nothing short of stellar. As other diners have mentioned, the staff at The Tuck Room, from the waitresses to the bartenders, exudes warmth and professionalism - a testament to their commitment to excellent customer service.

While there were mentions of minor delays in service during peak hours, the friendly demeanor of the staff more than compensated for any hiccups. The restaurant’s casual yet sophisticated environment allows for relaxed dining, making it an excellent choice for both spontaneous outings and planned events.

As I recount my experience at The Tuck Room, it’s hard not to feel enthusiastic about the culinary creativity that shines through each dish. With its thoughtfully curated drink menu featuring delightful mocktails and an array of creative cocktails, The Tuck Room is not just a restaurant; it’s a destination. Whether you’re looking to dine in style or enjoy a casual drink, this restaurant promises an enjoyable experience worthy of revisiting.

If you're in New York, make sure to stop by The Tuck Room. Ask for the manager, Travis, and trust me, you will not be disappointed. It's a dining experience that is as memorable as the flavors on your plate.

Clean, organized restaurant/entertainment space. Manager visited our table, initialy thought their was a problem but it was just to introduce himself and check on us to ensure our experience was top tier. If you visit ask for Travis, the manager! He will ensure all is beyond amazing.

We were going to the IPiC theater, but we had gotten there too early. We decided to get something to eat, and we went upstairs to the Tuck Room. We had what they offer from the menu they had for restaurant week. The place was full and the decor was very bright. I am not sure if they were short staff, but the server was really slow. Overall, it was a nice place, and the view from where we were seated was beautiful.

I went there before watching a movie at IPIC and ordered Nachos. It was delicious but it seemed like they need more people. Everyone was so busy and kept having problem with orders and food took pretty long to come out. They were friendly and nice to us and they were aware that it was their problem so they didn’t charge our drinks. They have a great room with cool atmosphere, just need more people I guess. It is still a fun place to sip some drinks and hang out with friends especially happy hour has great deals!

Me and my family recently had the pleasure of dining at The Tuck Room, and I must say, it was an experience worth raving about! From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the inviting atmosphere—a perfect blend of chic and cozy, making it an ideal spot for a night out. The food was outstanding. The shrimp spring rolls were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, while the seared scallops were bursting with flavor. Pairing these with one of their signature cocktails (highly recommend the Norma Jeane) made for an unforgettable meal. What truly made our visit exceptional, though, was our waitress, Aubey. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations tailored to our tastes. Despite the restaurant being busy, she made sure we were well taken care of, checking in at just the right moments without being intrusive. Her warm demeanor and genuine enthusiasm elevated the entire dining experience. If you’re looking for a spot with great food, creative drinks, and top-notch service, The Tuck Room is a must-visit! And if you’re lucky enough to be served by Aubey, you’re in for a treat. We’ll definitely be coming back!
